        Robert John Miller: Senior Customs and Trade Advisor, Western Region, Global Trade Consulting, Canada

        As Senior Customs and Trade Advisor in Global Trade Consulting, Canada, Robert assists Non-Resident Importer (NRI) clients to navigate the complex world of importing into Canada and helps them understand compliance, customs valuation, classification as well as monetary penalties for non-compliance with CBSA when importing into Canada.

        Robert has strong knowledge and experience in classification, valuation, appeals, rulings, refunds and entry audits.

        Robert joined Livingston in January 2019 after 30 years of customs industry experience, which has given him a strong and varied compliance background. Prior to Livingston, Robert was a Customs Inspector and then a Commodity Specialist with Revenue Canada, Customs & Excise.

        Robert has been an Instructional Facilitator for the Canadian Society of Customs Brokers (CSCB) in Northern Alberta and has his Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) designation from the Canadian Society of Customs Brokers (CSCB).

        Ken Nord: Senior Customs and Trade Advisor, Western Region, Global Trade Consulting, Canada

        As Senior Customs and Trade Advisor in Global Trade Consulting, Canada, Ken assists Non-Resident Importer (NRI) clients to navigate the complex world of importing into Canada and helps them understand compliance, customs valuation, tariff classification as well as monetary penalties for non-compliance with CBSA when importing into Canada.

        Ken has strong knowledge and experience in classification, valuation, appeals, rulings, refunds and entry audits.

        Ken joined Livingston in March 2020 after 30 years of customs industry experience, which has given him a strong and varied compliance background. Ken originally started in the brokerage industry. He then switched gears and managed customs and freight with the Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (VANOC). Most recently, he has been Head of Customs Brokerage for the Western Canadian operations of a major international freight forwarder.

        Ken is an alumnus of the University of Manitoba. He holds the Professional Designation from CBSA, the Certified Trade Compliance Specialist (CTCS) and Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) designations from CSCB and the Professional Logistician (P.Log.) designation from The Logistics Institute.
